Democracy shredded while we’re watching
With the political landscape of current times it’s hard to imagine that hardly anybody is paying attention.
I guess the shock and awe strategy of our executive branch is working, I know it’s working on me.
Is the government actually banning books in libraries? Is the president really using our government to get even with everyone who prosecuted him for crimes he committed?
The use of government to attack political opponents is a claim he made without any morsel of evidence as is usual with most of his accusations like a the rigged election.
Now the evidence of his using government to attack political enemies is clear as a bell, right before our eyes and he’s getting away with it because the only people that can do anything about it are Congress and they proved the last Trump administration that they just don’t care as long as they get reelected.
The GOP could have kicked in a couple votes to impeach Trump when he tried to bribe president Zelenskyy to create false crimes about Hunter Biden.
The same thing with Trump trying to talk the attorney general of Georgia to come up with over 11,000 votes to win the state. We heard his voice in the news as all presidential phone calls from the White House are recorded.
It was obvious what he tried to do. Now with the GOP’s blessing and support, the president is ripping our democracy to shreds, and once again right before our eyes. But who cares?
