Compassion, class needed in cuts
Argue if you want the merits of Elon Musk’s unregulated cuts to our federal government, there’s no arguing the fact that they are being carried out with a detestable callousness.
Those losing their jobs may be just numbers to this entitled billionaire, but they are human beings, men and women, with husbands and wives and children and mortgages and car payments and grocery bills, whose only sin was wanting to serve the government Musk so obviously hates and is enjoying tearing down.
If you want to upset people’s lives, at least show some class and compassion in the process, two qualities he clearly lacks. Instead he gloats, poses for photo ops with a chainsaw like he’s some sort of super hero, and gleefully speaks of putting government programs through a “shredder.”
No mention or feelings for the human beings whose lives are also being shredded.
In a just world, Musk would be shipped back where he came from.
