Endure a little pain to restore country
I am compelled to respond to Mr. Randall Manning’s letter to the Mirror published Feb. 4. He states that President Trump broke the law with his pardons of those involved in the fiasco at the Capitol on Jan. 6 after the previous election.
I can only assume he is really referring to ex-President Joe Biden’s pardon of his family, Democrats in Congress and Dr. Fauci for any crimes they committed or “may have” committed up to several years ago. These pardons have already been declared null and illegal. What a surprise right?
A sitting president is within his rights to make pardons. Many do in the last minutes of their terms to avoid scrutiny of those actions until it’s too late.
Calling the riot at the Capitol an insurrection is media and Democratic manipulation of events and facts. We won’t bother going into the actual riots and loss of life and property under the Democrats four years ago. I’m just so tired of people who just want to put their feelings out there with no justification for their thoughts.
Facts are facts. We elected President Trump based on his platform, his past performance and the people he is naming to the most important positions in our government. It’s finally about the people once again.
Change is happening even three weeks in and will continue. So let’s see what happens and even possibly endure a little pain in the process of improving and restoring our country once again.
