If you voted for Trump, you voted for a convicted felon, a convicted sex abuser. You voted for a man who was impeached twice during his last presidency.
While he was running for president, Trump said he would lower prices. But grocery, prescription drugs and gasoline prices continue to rise. Has he mentioned anything about lowering prices now?
Now "King" Trump and "Queen" Musk, and their minions, are trying to dismantle the government. And they don't care what damage they do to our democracy. Supposedly, this is to lower costs.
Did you know that Musk is getting $8 million a day of taxpayer money for him and his businesses? Did you also know that a billionaire, Warren Buffet, stated that "if billionaires paid their fair share of taxes, we would never have to pay taxes again?"
Why don't you ask your local congressman, John Joyce, about this?
We need people to work in the government. We need employees to operate the Social Security and Medicare system, to monitor airport safety, to provide meat and produce inspection, to make sure we have clean water and air. We also need government employees to ensure that our roads and bridges are safe, to protect our national parks and wildlife, to provide internet security and to provide a healthy military.
Musk, the billionaire, wants to get rid of so many of these employees and that would take away the safety net that the government is supposed to provide its citizens.
Speaking of safety, what do you think about the people that Trump has chosen to run the most important government offices?
Are we going to invade Greenland, Panama and Canada? I think not.
Remember how Hitler came to power. He dehumanized minorities. Is history repeating itself?
