Poe’s strongman attracted majority
I have never understood poetry.
It seemed to me that most of what I have read was written to serve the thoughts of the writer and the reader was left to guess the meaning. I was never good at deciphering the meaning.
Except with Poe. He always saw that mankind thought to look to the light but in fear followed the dark strongman who said he could save them from their troubles, in doing so without thought became the darkness that they feared.
The world is on such a track today. Let me be clear, not all of mankind follow the dark strongman. However, it appears that the majority are willing to do so.
