After the 2024 presidential election results I admit I was floored. How could the majority want a convicted felon to lead us? I was definitely missing something.
Somehow I missed the whole transgender discrepancy. I saw the political ads about it with a seven-foot-tall former man playing basketball with girls but I assumed it was just another outrageous political ad with no basis of truth.
Nonetheless, Donald Trump is our nation's leader now and of course he started out with controversial cabinet picks. Sad part is it didn't surprise anyone.
But after the speaker of the house didn't let Trump ruin Christmas by forcing a debt ceiling increase to avoid a government shutdown, Trump actually endorsed Mike Johnson's bid to stay Speaker of the House.
The one person who stands up to Trump gets his only endorsement that makes sense.
Apparently I'm still missing something.
