I would only ask, where was God in Sandy Hook, Conn.? Parkland, Fla.? Uvalde, Texas? And the thousands of other times children have been victimized?
Why is the life of a convicted felon, found liable for sexual assault, convicted of fraud, and defamation more valuable that the lives of the innocent children -- I repeat innocent children -- than the convicted felon's life?
I think someone needs a bit of a reality check.
God is not showing much character if he values the felon's life over innocent children's lives.
There was no miracle on the 13th. Only a lot of luck. And the felon is the luckiest criminal ever.
But, even John Gotti, the "Teflon Don," eventually lost.
