I really enjoyed Matt Churella's article in Monday's Mirror, "Man on a mission."
I have seen him (Fred Shields) often and wondered who he was, what was his story and why he does this.
I always smile and either wave back or beep. He does bring a smile to my face.
It was so nice to hear that Anthony Evangelisto gave him a job and set up a GoFundMe account. The next time I go to Primanti Bros., I am going to get him a gift card and maybe an umbrella.
