Doyle has been too lenient on crime

1 min read

I'm a lifelong resident of Blair County, veteran and entrepreneur who is greatly concerned with the direction of America.

Particularly concerning is our system of justice.

I know local law enforcement are dedicated professionals looking out for the best interest of our county, but I don't get the same feeling from Judge Elizabeth Doyle.

I have become aware of many instances of her reducing bail for criminals with felony charges.

In one case reported in the Altoona Mirror (March 25, 2020), a defendant with 50 charges pending, including child sexual abuse, had his bail reduced from $500,000 to $1,000 by the judge.

He paid it and went free.

We shouldn't risk becoming Philadelphia and another 10-year term for Judge Doyle will do exactly that. Please vote no on her retention.
