In face of crisis, Biden has stood tall

Joe Biden is the legitimately elected president of the United States.

He won the popular vote, the Electoral College vote of 306 to Trump’s 232 and 7 million more votes than Trump, so how could the election be stolen?

Trump filed over 60 cases through the courts and even the Supreme Court, and they found no proof of fraud or corruption in the 2020 election.

I guess he could not accept the fact that the American people fired him and that he came in second place.

Chris Krebs and Bill Barr even stated that the 2020 election was the safest and most fraud-free election in years.

Trump was behind a scheme to send fake elector votes to Washington and seize voting machines across the country.

All of his schemes failed.

His last attempt to overthrow a legitimate election happened on Jan. 6, 2021, and that resulted in death and destruction to the tune of over $3 million by his supporters while he watched it gleefully on TV saying, “Look how they’re fighting for me.”

We now have a decent, smart, experienced president who is trying to put the country on the right track.

I’m really proud of how President Biden has handled the COVID-19 crisis, passed the American Rescue Plan, created millions of jobs, lowered unemployment and reduced our deficit. But all the radical right can do is demonize him and call him names.

Congress passed the American Rescue Plan and not one Republican voted for it, including our own U.S. Rep. John Joyce.

Here I thought he was working for us.

Altoona benefited from this plan to the tune of $40 million, and not one official or the mayor of Altoona thanked President Biden or the Democrats in Washington for the windfall.

Isn’t that just pathetic?
