Wow, the pro-liberal/anti-conservative slant of the Associated Press was in its full glory in a recent article in the Altoona Mirror.
The article was about the news conference President Biden recently held.
To read the take of AP reporters Zeke Miller and Josh Boak, it was a solid performance by President Biden -- confident, adept, skillfully and knowledgeably fielding questions from the attending press corp. From my view, it was far from it.
Miller and Boak did not mention the blunt, to the point questions that challenged the president on various issues.
By the way, many of those pointed questions weren't necessarily from conservative news media, but rather from generally liberal leaning media.
Further, Miller and Boak could not resist planting seeds of discontent in this article.
"There are at least 19 Republican-backed laws in states that make it harder to vote, and Jan. 6 insurrection supporters are filling election local election posts and running for office."
What did that have to do with the news conference? Nothing, but never let an opportunity to propagandize go to waste.
If you want a more objective take on what actually occurred at this news conference, I recommend you take a look at the Wall Street Journal.
As far as the Associated Press, their progressive, protect and promote the liberal cause permeates much of their writing.
I commend the Mirror for doing a good job in presenting all sides of the political spectrum. However, I think that Associated Press articles should be tagged as a clearly biased source of news.
