Gesture of kindness deserves thank you

I recently came back to Altoona to look after my father. Sadly, he passed away, and now I am dealing with all his apartment belongings.

Being disabled and close to 80 years old, it is difficult to get around.

I went to We Sell Your Furniture Store to see if they could help. I was also hungry and decided to walk down to the nearest fast-food place.

Well, the lady owner said she would drive me — with my walker and all — and back. What a generous gesture. And she did. She should be thanked for this.

Her name is Deborah, and she is one of the owners. God bless her and her husband.

Not very often do we meet strangers who will go out of their way to help others.
