Don’t kid yourself on Obama’s legacy

2 min read

Former President Barack Obama is out stumping for himself in an effort to secure his flailing legacy.

The 3,500 people in the audience in his speech at MIT last month was told ahead of time that audio and video recordings were prohibited.

However, a recording of the speech was posted on the web. He said that he and his administration had "no scandals" that caused embarrassment and no major breakdowns in governance during his term as president.

He is either delusional or has a very short memory. A compilation of the scandals during his presidency are:

– The IRS targeting religious and conservative groups

– Candidate Hillary Clinton's personal server that she denied knowing about, but did (and recently has shown was hacked by several foreign countries)

– Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and her failures in Benghazi (where four Americans were killed)

– Attorney General Eric Holder and his gun running program dubbed "Fast & Furious"

– Attorney General Eric Holder held in contempt of court

– $1.7 "billion" in cash and gold to Iranian terrorists with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard transporting it per the Ayatollah's orders

– Illegal spying on journalists

– Illegal spying on private citizen Donald Trump's campaign

– Obamacare and "you can keep your doctor"

– Inviting Black Lives Matter terrorists to the White House

– Open borders

– Treating Bowe Bergdhal as a welcomed "hero"

– Overruling SCOTUS nine times

– The stimulus theft and no "shovel-ready jobs"

– Joe Sestak of the New Black Panthers being offered a job to stay out of the Pennsylvania race so Arlen Spector could win

His foreign policy rivals Jimmy Carter's as a historic disaster. His irrational pullout from Iraq created the space for Islamic state to flourish. The Iran deal has been a laughable failure as the regime has openly violated the agreement. He won't admit his complete failure to act to end Syria's bloody civil war.

He won't admit he moved the country to the far left over two terms. He won't admit that his threat to "overstep" his executive power was short-term smart and long-term stupid, while also being consistently ruled as unconstitutional.

And this is only the beginning. When all the information is finally exposed, it will be worse than "Watergate," and Hillary Clinton won't be the only one labeled as "crooked."
