Richard T. Graupens­perger, 86, of Altoona, passed away Monday morning, April 21, 2025, at Midtown Oaks Health and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona, after an extended illness. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 806 11th St., Altoona. A complete obituary will appear in Wednesday’s Mirror.

Elaine P. Harshberger, 86, a resident of Hilltop Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona, passed away peacefully Friday, joining her beloved husband in Heaven. She was born in Gouverneur, N.Y., daughter of the late Leland H. and Ina P. (Corkum) Bishop. She married Merrill R. Harshberger on Aug. 19, 1961. He preceded her in death Aug. 27, 2024. Judythe Ann Lenhart, 84, of Fuquay-Varina, N.C., formerly of Altoona, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Anthony Verilla and Aurelia Corso Verilla. She was preceded in death by siblings: John, Michael, Eugene and Anthony Verilla and Lorraine Russo. Surviving are her husband, Jerry Lenhart; a daughter, Jennifer Appleby; grandsons, Jon and Brian Appleby; and great-granddaughter, Chelsea Appleby. Bonni J. (Bookwalter) Lindberg, 72, of Hollidaysburg, died Saturday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Cloyd and Constance (Campbell) Bookwalter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; siblings, Sherri George and Willard Bookwalter; and a nephew, JJ Petrou. Kristen J. Miller, 50, of Altoona, entered into eternal rest on Sunday at her home surrounded by her family. Kristen was born in Altoona, the daughter of Nadine and Richard Augustine. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richie Augustine. In addition to her parents, Kristen is survived by her loving husband, Henry M.
