Ronald Calvin Detwiler

Ronald Calvin Detwiler, 80, of Tyrone, passed away Friday. He was born in Tyrone, son of the late Ralph and Harriet (Drake) Detwiler. He is survived by sons: Ronald C. (Elizabeth) Detwiler II and Adam M. (Katie) Detwiler; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and brothers, Robert and Raymond. He was preceded in death by siblings: Stan, Tillie, Jim, Betty, Shirly, Carl, Warren and Mary Ann. Ronald was a graduate of Tyrone High School and worked as a dairy farmer on his family farm. At Ronald’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements by Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone.

James was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years and Tyrone High School sweetheart, Patricia (DeLong) Getz. William L. Jasper Sr., 78, of Coalport, died Friday. He was born in Clearfield, son of the late Wilbur and Merna (Richardson) Jasper. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha; a granddaughter, Jayden Jasper; and siblings: Gene, Edward, Webb, Shirley and Rose. Surviving are children: Betty Jo Renninger, Fonetta “Fawn” Gates, William, twins: Daniel and Dennis, and Scott; and several grandchildren.
