William Eugene Rightnour Jr., 82, of Hollidaysburg, passed away peacefully on Jan. 23, 2026. Born in Homestead, he was the son of the late Kenneth Eugene Rightnour and Verna (McMonigal) Rightnour. He grew up in Canoe Creek. William proudly served his country for more than 20 years in the United States Army, retiring at the rank of First Sergeant (1SG). On Dec. 3, 1983, he married Ruby (McGregor), who survives along with two children, Neil and Teresa; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Joseph III and Susan.
