Joanne M. Lingenfelter, 95, passed away Saturday. She was a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Smith) Pleacher. She is survived by her brother, Russell Pleacher; her children, Roger Lingenfelter (Terri) and Judy Barnowsky (John); her grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by siblings: Ruth, Mildred, Edna Pearl and Charles “Smokey.” Joanne had a caring heart and was quick to help wherever needed. Shirley Jean “Cookie” O’Donnell, 84, of Flinton (Beaver Valley), died Wednesday. She was born in Beaver Valley, daughter of the late Robert and Beulah (Gates) Barnhart. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William; infant daughter, Brittany; siblings: William, Robert, Patricia Kendrick, Donna Westover and Joanne Hilmer.
