Bryson James Myers, 3, Tyrone, died Thursday after accidentally drowning in a swimming pool. He was born in Tyrone, son of Eric and Chelsey (Judd) Myers. Surviving are his parents; and his special caregivers, his grandparents, Charles and Patricia Miller of Tyrone. Bryson was a very loving boy. Patrick J. Owens, 62, Hastings, died Tuesday. He was born in New Brunswick, N.J., son of the late Francis and Shirley (Shultz) Owens. Surviving are his wife, Donna; stepchildren, Deanna and Hugh; many grandchildren; and siblings: Kevin, Debbie, Laura and Brian. He was preceded in death by a sister, Christine; and a stepdaughter, Donna. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Interment will be at St. Bernard Cemetery, Hastings.

Douglas K. Reed, 65, of Altoona, died Monday. He was born in Lewistown, son of Herbert and the late Saralee (Yeater) Reed. Surviving are his father; his former wife, Lisa; and their two children, Devon and Delaney; and his son, Michael. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
