James R. Rose, 74, of Roaring Spring, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. He was born on Feb. 27, 1952, son of the late Whit and Sadie Rose. On June 16, 1973, he was united in marriage to Pamela R. Rose. Surviving is his wife; daughter, Patricia Feathers; son, Brian Rose; and grandchildren. Friends and family will be received from 1 until the 4 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2026, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Roaring Spring. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Allegheny Portage Railroad National Historic Site. Arrangements are by Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Martinsburg.
