Patricia K. Luther, 77, Fallentimber "Fiske," passed away on Sunday at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center surrounded by family.

She was born Philipsburg, daughter of Charles "Frank" and Betty H. (Ricketts) Welker.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, James Luther; sons, James (Valerie) Luther II and Joseph (Renee) Luther; grandchildren, Brandon Hart and Owen Luther; a nephew, who was like a son to her, John Luther; and siblings, Bonnie McCoy and Betsy Queen, both of Coalport.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Charles "Chuckie" Welker Jr.

Patricia worked as a bookkeeper and secretary for St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and retired in 2018 after 25 years. She also worked for the election board in White Township for 44 years, serving 22 years as the Judge of Elections. She was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Cambria County Farm Bureau.

She enjoyed being a homemaker, antiques, gardening, Little House on the Prairie and spending time with her family. She was the rock of her family.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, at Gibbons-Penksa Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 692 Glendale Valley Blvd., Fallentimber, Father Bob Reese, officiating. Committal will be at St. Augustine Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Her death ended a 55-year truly loving and caring marriage.
