Mary L. Whysong, 83, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Stuppio) Gardner.
Surviving are her children: Michelle Claycomb (Ross), Stephanie Whysong and Michael Whysong; grandchildren: Brooke, Tyler and Cody; and great-grandchildren: Ava, Jillian, Jayce and Bella. Also surviving are sisters: Barbara Gardner of Duncansville, Patti Sargent of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Christine Gardner of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by brothers: Wes, Edward, Bill, Robert and an infant brother, Bevely; and sisters: Donna Antesburger, Debbie Beck and Cindy Donelson.
Mary was a 1961 graduate of Altoona High School. She retired as a manager from Tritex Sportswear.
At Mary's request, private services will be held by the family.
