Karin A. Stotler, 66, Philipsburg, died Monday morning, Sept. 28, 2026.
She was born at Mercy Hospital, Altoona, daughter of the late Glenn Z. and Hilda (Houschka) Stotler.
She is survived by her oldest brother, Erich J. Stotler of Duncansville; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She enjoyed the time spent with her boyfriend, Pete Castleberry.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Hubert B. on Sept. 1, 2023, Glenn R. on July 17, 2024, and Bernhard A. on April 24, 2026.
Karin was a 1978 graduate of Altoona Area High School and in 1980 earned her certified nurse's aide license in Johnstown. She worked a number of years at Valley View Nursing Home, Altoona, then at Shirley's Cookie Co. and Marianna's Foods.
She was an admirer of Elvis Presley. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her great-nieces and great-nephews.
To honor Karin's wishes, there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral services.
