Jerry A. Wilkins, 60, of Altoona, passed away Sunday at his residence, surrounded by his family, after an extended illness. He was born in Conoga Park, Calif., son of the late Robert A. and Virginia L. (Jones) Wilkins.
On July 31, 2011, he married Janis M. (Kokoruda) in Altoona. She passed away on May 11, 2023.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Shawn Noel; and two sisters, Donna Slowik and Elaine Wilkins.
Surviving are two daughters, Amanda and Beth Noel; three sons: John and Michael Noel and Jerry A. Wilkins Jr.; two sisters, Wanda and Rebecca; a brother, Daniel James; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed working on any type of motor vehicle. He was a true Dale Earnhardt fan. Most of all, Jerry loved spending time with his family and friends.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery.
