Georgiana Olive "Georgie" Mallory, 87, of Altoona, entered into eternal rest on Thursday surrounded by her family in Altoona. Georgiana was born in Boonville, N.Y., to the late Hettie Pauline (Croyle) and the late Leon Royal Betsinger.
In addition to her parents, Georgiana was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael P. Mallory Sr.; her loving daughter, Peggy Mallory; and her son, Tracy Mallory.
Georgiana is survived by her loving children: Michael P. (Anna) Mallory of Jacksonville, Fla., Terry L. (Bernadette) Mallory of Tyrone, Sheri Mallory of Harrisburg, Lisa Mallory of Bellwood and Yvonne Johnson of Altoona; two loving sisters; four loving brothers; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Georgiana was Christian by faith and loved attending bingo. She also loved her word search books and working with plastic canvas.
Services will be held privately with the family at a later date.
