Francisca Peckowych, 97, of Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg, died Friday. She was born in Argentina, daughter of the late Elias and Miguelina (Kruk) Mondryk. Francisca was a member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, where she married Nick Peckowych on April 26, 1975. He preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 2015. Surviving are siblings: Terri, Joan, Rose and Anthony; and several nieces and nephews. Private inurnment at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. Arrangements are by Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., Altoona.
