Dianne Louise Martel, 76, formerly of Juniata Gap, Altoona, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Clarence and Florene (Earnest) Keith.
On Sept. 9, 1972, she married John E. Martel in Altoona.
In addition to her husband; she is survived by two sons, Josh and wife, Michelle, of Everett and Seth and wife, Lisa, of Roaring Spring; grandchildren: Sarah, Ethan, Levi, Luke, Leah, Lydia (Ethan), Caleb and Titus; two great-grandchildren, Gideon and Adeline; and a sister, Lelie Troxell.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy.
Dianne was a 1968 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She trained to be a lab tech at the Altoona Hospital, where she met her husband, John, the love of her life.
She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church, Altoona, where she was active in Ladies Fellowship, taught junior church and helped with the live nativity.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., 719 N. Fourth Ave., Altoona, with Pastor Ron Anderson officiating. Interment will be made at Alto-Reste Park.
