Charles Lee Miller, 75, Tyrone, died Saturday at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Tyrone, son of the late David P. and Betty L. (Patterson) Miller. On March 26, 1999, he married Patricia Teeters, who survives with children: sons, Charles L. (Candy) Miller Jr. and Mykah Miller; and daughters, Crystal (Antonio) Teeters and Darlene Miller; 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; his siblings: Thelma (John) Wilson of Tyrone, Dorothy (Norman) Leeper in Montana, Melvin (Arlene) Miller and Ralph Miller of Tyrone, Richie (Mary Ann) Miller in Alabama and Barb Wenner of Tyrone.
He was preceded in death by siblings, David Miller and Susan Miller; and a grandson, Bryson James Myers.
He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Saratoga. He was an over-the-road trucker for more than 34 years. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church, the American Legion Post 281 and the Legion Riders.
Charles loved riding his Harley with the Riders, fishing and special time with his grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Thursday, Oct. 8, at Derman Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone, with Pastor Ken Patterson officiating. Interment will be at Baughman Cemetery.
