Betty M. (Garman) Baker, 88, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday. She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Harvey and Helen (Socie) Garman.
She married Bernie Baker in 1960.
Surviving are her husband of 66 years; three sons: Brad and wife, Gloria; Brian and wife, Annette; and Brice; six grandchildren: Jessica, Daniele, Kaitlyn, Nathan, Hannah and Colin; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Nora Zapotoczny, Judith Lynn and Kathy Woods.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Thomas; and four brothers: Harry, Donald, Roger and Stephen Garman.
Betty was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, being outside, gardening and her pets.
Betty will be remembered for her kindness, strength and courage.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m.
Private interment at Alto-Reste Park.
