Richard I. Heininger, 84, Hollidaysburg, passed away at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg surrounded by his family. He was born in Johnstown, son of the late Robert E. and Roberta (Speidle) Heininger.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Connie (Appleman); four sons: Richard (Renee) and Christopher of Hollidaysburg, Troy (Renee) of Altoona, and Carl (Jennifer) of Harrisburg; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Rodney "Rod" (Pauline) and William "Billy" Murray.
He was preceded in death by brothers: Ronald "Ron," Robert "Bob" and Stephen "Steve."
Richard attended Hollidaysburg High School.
He retired as a railroad machinist and welder with more than 30 years of service.
Richard was a member of the Hollidaysburg Masonic Lodge and enjoyed hunting, coaching baseball and family gatherings.
At Richard's request, there will be no services.
