Michael Jude Sutch, 67, of Shippensburg, entered into God's eternal care on Wednesday at his home. Born in Altoona, he was the son of Julia Jean (Hitchings) and the late Thomas Leo Sutch.
Michael had a bachelor's degree and worked as a restaurant manager for most of his working career. He was an avid sports fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
In addition to his mother, Michael is survived by four siblings: Jim Sutch (Carole Sutch), Thomas Sutch, Terrie Sutch and Bonnie Ciserano. He is also survived by a niece; six nephews; four great-nieces; and seven great-nephews.
In addition to his father, Michael was preceded in death by a sister, PJ McGuigan (her surviving husband, Jack McGuigan).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, 305 N. Prince St., Shippensburg, with Father Dozey officiating.
Michael will be laid to rest at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Dugan Funeral & Cremation Ltd., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice.
