Kopp

John Paul Kopp, 61, of Eight Four, Pa., formerly of Dysart, passed away peacefully on Saturday. John was born in Spangler and was the beloved son of the late Paul and Helen Kopp.

A proud veteran, John served his country in the United States Navy before continuing his education and graduating from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

John was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend who found his greatest joy in his family. He shared 24 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Sandy, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter and countless memories. His daughter, Megan, was the light of his life, and John treasured every moment they shared. He was especially proud of Megan and loved nothing more than being there to watch her play volleyball and cheer her on from the sidelines.

John enjoyed the outdoors, particularly hunting, and appreciated the time spent with family and friends. He was a member of the Doylestown, Ohio, American Legion, where his pride in his military service remained an important part of his life.

In addition to his wife, Sandy; and daughter, Megan, John is survived by his sister, Denise (Brian) Lamson; and his lifelong best friend, Bob (Carolyn) Mazur, whom John considered a brother.

He was preceded in death by his beloved triplet daughters: Amelia, Allison and Alexandria, whose memory remained forever in his heart.

John will be remembered as a true family man -- a loving husband and devoted father who cherished the people he loved most. His presence, friendship and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray.
