Frank T. Bracciale, 82, Altoona, passed away Tuesday at his home. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Lebro and Helen (Iorio) Bracciale.
On June 1, 1974, he married Dianna Raugh.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Dianna; two sons, Ron (Cheryl) Raugh and Rod (Dawn) Raugh; a daughter, Kimberly (Frank) Mumper; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Teresa (Bill) Loose; and a sister-in-law, Diane Bracciale.
Frank was preceded in death by a son, Frankie Bracciale Jr.; siblings: Paul (Gayle) Bracciale, Joe
Bracciale and Rose Corbin; and his in-laws, Roy and Nellie Hummel.
Frank was a 1963 graduate of Altoona High School. He retired from SKF USA Inc. after 38 years of service as a machine operator.
He enjoyed building different things, being busy and could fix just about anything.
Frank was a lifetime member of the Bavarian Aid Society.
He was a member and usher at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Frank was known to help set up the Mount Carmel Festival for 18 years.
Frank's family would like to send a special thank you to Pinnacle Hospice registered nurse Francine Shuty, and special friend, Cassie McNelis, for their excellent care and thoughtfulness while caring for Frank.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, at Santella Funeral Home, where a vigil for the deceased will be held.
A viewing will also be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, at the funeral home. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
