Douglas R. Frank, 69, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday. He was born in Altoona, son of Jennie (Lindsey) and the late John "Jack" Frank.
Surviving are his daughter, Katie (Frank) Yeager, and husband, Jeff; his mother of Hollidaysburg; four sisters: Diane Castellucci and husband, Pat; Donna Emeigh and husband, Mark; Dolores Trimble and husband, Brad; and Della Wightman and husband, Scott; four brothers: David and wife, Marlene; Denis and wife, Cynthia; Dale and wife, Dawn; and Dwight and wife, Sharon; and his wife, Karen (Weyer) Frank.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Duane, in 1980.
Doug graduated from Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School in 1974, where he was a standout running back and part of a dynamic duo of 1,000-yard rushers, and won the Blair County Offensive Player of the Year.
He retired as a car salesman and selling computer software.
Doug enjoyed playing golf and riding horses.
