Denise Ann (Mapes) Mickel, 70, of Roaring Spring, died Wednesday. She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Daniel and Joyce (Teeter) Mapes. She was also preceded in death by three siblings: Linda, Mark and Steve Mapes. Surviving are her husband, Jeff; sons: Jeffrey II, Thaddeus and Nathaniel Mickel; special nephew, Philip Worthy; six grandchildren; and sisters: Elaine, Brenda and Karen. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. service Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, at Martinsburg Church of God. Arrangements are by Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Martinsburg.
