Albright

David K. Albright, 69, of Greensburg, passed away Thursday. He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Donald Eugene and Esther Jane (Beegle) Albright.

He was a graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School and received a bachelor's degree in English writing from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to retirement, he spent many decades as a piano tuner and later was employed by Philips Respironics.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Albright.

He is survived by his son, Colin Albright (Carina); daughter, Danielle Thompson (Brian); three granddaughters: Makayla (Casey), Karlene (Jacob) and Cadence (Brendon); four great-grandchildren: Holland, Luca, Lincoln and Grayson; and an expected great-grandchild; his previous wife and best friend, Jill Albright; four siblings: Karen Longnecker (Herb), Lynn Albright, Jim Albright (Cindy) and Dan Albright (Melanie); his sister-in-law, Carla Albright; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Greensburg. There will also be a celebration of life gathering at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, at Canoe Creek State Park Pavilion #2 in Hollidaysburg.
