Russell J. Smith, 80, Bellwood, died Wednesday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Frank and Velma (Woodring) Smith. He married Deborah D. Olson in Glasgow, Mont. Surviving are his wife; two children, Scott R. Smith and Roxanne L. Datres; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his sister, Ruth Watson. Russell was a U.S. Air Force veteran. To honor his wishes, there will be no funeral services. Arrangements are by Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood.
