Robert L. "Bob" Lynn, 92, of Hollidaysburg, formerly of Altoona, passed away Monday morning at Garvey
Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg. He was born in Altoona and raised by his late grandparents, John and Rose (Kittell) Lynn.
Bob married Jane Obermyer on May 2, 1959.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Jane; his son, Terry Lynn (Vicki); two daughters, Kathy Madariaga (Ulises) and Cheryl Lynn (Mark Bates) both of Altoona; five grandchildren: Brent (Renae), Ryan, Sebastian (Natasha),
Jordan and Morgan; four great-grandchildren: Mason, Cassandra, Aria and Theo. He is also survived by six half-siblings: Lou, John, Mark, Janet, Nancy and Susie.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Marie Dyczko, who helped raise him and his grandson, Cory.
Bob was a 1953 graduate of Altoona High School and served in the U.S. Army.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He previously worked for Drennings and Ward Trucking. Bob was the former owner of Lynn Trailer Rental and Warehousing.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Garvey Manor for their outstanding care.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, 2026, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona.
Private interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
