Kathleen M. Shutt, 89, Altoona, died Thursday. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Effie Trexler. Surviving are children: Allen Ratchford, Carol Satterfield, Marcy Lee, Bill Jr., Ron, Scott and Stacy; many grandchildren; and a sister, Patti Burk. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Sr.; children, Michael Ratchford and Pat Burgmeier; grandchildren, Sammy Shutt and Lauren Balberchak; and three siblings. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the service at noon on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026, at Duncansville Evangelical Lutheran Church.
