Kathleen M. Shutt, 89, Altoona, died Thursday. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Effie Trexler. Surviving are children: Allen Ratchford, Carol Satterfield, Marcy Lee, Bill Jr., Ron, Scott and Stacy; many grandchildren; and a sister, Patti Burk. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Sr.; children, Michael Ratchford and Pat Burgmeier; grandchildren, Sammy Shutt and Lauren Balberchak; and three siblings. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the service at noon on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026, at Duncansville Evangelical Lutheran Church. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Duncansville.
