Judith A. (Ruscio) Caramadre, 79, of Altoona, died unexpectedly on July 26, 2026, after an accidental fall in her home. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Goldie M. (Mobley) Ruscio.
She married Jonathan C. Caramadre on July 5, 1994, in Winchester, Va.
Surviving are her husband, Jonathan, of Altoona; three children: daughter, June A. Weber of Tacoma, Wash.; daughter, Maxine L. Holland of Rocky Mount, Va.; and son, George A. Hodges (Zoe) of Rocky Mount, Va.; two granddaughters; four grandsons; a great-grandson; two sisters, Gloria Shelton of Palm Springs, Calif., and Louise Hodges of Hampton, Va.; a brother, Joseph Ruscio of Altoona; and numerous extended family members.
Judith was preceded in death by a grandson, Conor A. Hodges; a sister, Cathy Rivera; and her beloved grand-doggie, "Briella."
She was employed as a childcare provider at Tender Love for Children (TLC) Childcare, Altoona, from where she retired in 2008 after 15 years' service.
Judith enjoyed oil painting, drawing, sewing, playing bingo, flower gardening, her coffee and her Salems, but she especially loved spending time with her babies and family.
She was a member of the local chapter of the Harley Owners Group (HOG).
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or funeral services. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be made at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
