Josephine M. (Hornberger) Worthy, 84, born and raised in Altoona, passed away Sunday at Conemaugh Hospital. She was preceded in death by siblings: Jane Burket, James Hornberger and Darlene Weatherwalk; a daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Dan Hatch. Surviving are her husband, Charles; a son, Francis Miller Jr. (Amy); a daughter, Diana Kennedy; grandchildren: Stacy Ethington, Mandy Schaufler, Melissa Dively, Daniel Hatch II, Tiereney Stachowski, Rachel Miller-Carr and Chadwick Crumm IV; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Penny Murphy. At Joesphine's request, there will be no public services.
