Malynda Lea Swope Allshouse, 56, Altoona, passed away peacefully at home with loved ones on Wednesday.
Surviving are her husband, Jonathan W. Allshouse; children: Garrett M. Spencer, Graham A. Spencer, Cyle J. Reed, Carilyn M. Allshouse and Donavan L. Allshouse; grandchildren: Sydnee Rayne, Lincoln Bradford, Sebastian Eli, Michael Lee, Shane Anthony, Liam Paul and Wyatt Lee; her mother, Cathy J. Benson; her father, Michael L. Swope, and his wife, Sharon; her mother-in-law, Barbara E. Allshouse; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Malynda was a 1988 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School and was a stay-at-home mom. She belonged to the Blair County Antique Auto Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting, car shows and video gaming.
A Celebration of Life will be held at noon Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, at Bald Eagle Grange Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to cover funeral expenses.
