Kelly Ann Franks, 59, of Blandburg, died Thursday after battling cancer. She was born in Euclid, Ohio, a daughter of the late John Cooney and the late Elizabeth "Betsy" (Johns) Cooney Salsgiver. Surviving are her husband, David; daughters, Nikki Trent and Brittany Franks; six grandchildren; three siblings: John Cooney Jr., Heather Cooney and Tracie Greene; her stepfather, Danny Salsgiver; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a great-nephew, Nash VanScoyoc. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
