Huston E. “Dude” Robison, 85, of Portage, passed away Tuesday at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring. Born in Roaring Spring, he was the son of the late Huston Earl and Evelyn Robison.
Dude was a 1959 graduate of Central High School and retired as a laborer from the Appvion Paper Mill in Roaring Spring. He also proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
A faithful member of Puzzletown Bible Church, Dude was a hard worker who took great pride in maintaining his home and property. He found joy in the beauty of the Pennsylvania mountains and was an avid hunter.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betty; two daughters, Elizabeth Gil (Juan) and Jennifer Robison-Latalladi; his sister, Dawn Mohney; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dude was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife and mother of their two children, Ida; and his second wife, Shirley Robison.
Friends and family will be received for visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2026, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona; and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service with military honors on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the funeral home.
Private interment will be at Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
