Carol J. Machiarola, 83, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Tuesday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Coupon, a daughter of Eugene and Alma (Booterbaugh) Seymore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tony "Oscar" Machiarola; son, Shawn Machiarola; siblings: Lorraine Marasco, Ronald Seymore, John Seymore and Marilyn Seymore; and son-in-law, Gary Moschgat.
She is survived by her daughters, Lori Moschgat and Kim (Joe) Mercer; and grandsons, Justin and Christopher Moschgat.
Carol enjoyed painting ceramics, coloring, reading and spending time with family.
Family and friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2026, at Gibbons-Penksa Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 159 Hickory St., Ashville. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Coupon.
