Brian P. "Bubba" Stroh, 51, Altoona, passed away Friday at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh with his family by his side.
He was born in Altoona, son of Wilma (Padula) Stroh and the late John H. Stroh Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Wilma; his daughter, Brianna M. Stroh of Altoona; his sister, Angel M. Stroh of Altoona; his brother, John H. Stroh Jr. (Bridget) of Altoona; nieces and nephews: Dalen Stroh (Leslie), Corbin Stroh (Andrea), Dominic Stroh (Lauren), Jonathon Stroh and Bennett Stroh; a great-niece; and two great-nephews.
Brian was a 1993 graduate of Altoona Area High School. He was the owner and operator of several small restaurants in the area.
He enjoyed camping and being with his St. Bernards, but he especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a friend to everyone he met.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2026, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2026, immediately followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in Stevens Memorial Chapel.
