Barry A. Rodgers, 83, of Altoona, passed away peacefully on Wednesday. Born in Altoona, he was the son of the late Kirby and E. Ruth (Houser) Rodgers.
Barry married Sandra J. (Gill) Rodgers.
A 1961 graduate of Altoona High School, Barry furthered his education at Barber School. He dedicated 51 years as a barber and was the proud owner and operator of Barry’s Barbershop.
Barry was a faithful member of Christ Community Church and an active member of the F & AM Mountain Lodge No. 281.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; his children, Bryan Rodgers and his wife, Pam, and Becky Liberman and her husband, Sam; five grandchildren: Jordan, Katie, Matthew, Marc and Josh; three great-grandchildren; and his sister, Barbara Brown.
Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
Interment will be private at Alto-Reste Park.
