Tom D. Wertman, 77, of Lakemont, passed away June 17, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Roaring Spring, son of the late Charles “Lefty” and Grace (Long) Wertman.
He married Martha Baldauf in 1984.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 42 years; three daughters: Ginger Baker (Dan), Tina Wilt (Dan) and Mary McMonagle (Steve); two sons, Todd Wertman (Jenni) and Bill Homan (Dominque); and his cherished grandchildren: Dustin Hewitt (Ashley), Sarah Wilt, Erin Wilt, Julie Davis (Al), Andrew Homan (Kimber), Christopher McMonagle (Jess), Abbey Bracken (Josh), Alyssa Wertman, Elizabeth Kaurudar (Tanner) and Ethan Baker; as well as 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings; a granddaughter, Megan; and a great-granddaughter, Eva.
Tom retired from DeGol Brothers Lumber as a forklift driver.
He enjoyed woodworking, riding his motorcycle and spending time with family.
Todd will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of family and the many memories he shared with those he loved.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Cremation is by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
