Nancy L. (Snyder) Plummer Itinger

She was born in Tyrone, a daughter of the late Elwood and Dorothy Snyder.

Nancy was twice married, first to the late Dave Plummer; she then married Richard H. Itinger on March 5, 1977. He preceded her in death Oct. 15, 2018.

Surviving are her four children, Mike (Tina) Plummer of Bellwood, Londa (Jeff) Wilson in North Carolina, Jeff (Melody) Plummer of Bellwood and Mary (Denny) Gardner of Tyrone; four stepchildren, Cindy (Paul) Adams, Vicky (Bruce) Plummer and Lisa (Jim) McIntire, all of Altoona and Mike (Bertha) Itinger; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Cheryl (Doug) Baney of State College.

She was preceded in death by daughters, Karen Sue Plummer and Nancy Ann Reese; a granddaughter, Amy E. Berardi; and siblings, David Snyder and Jonelle Reese.

Nancy retired as a nurse’s aide at Colonial Courtyard, Tyrone. She enjoyed reading her Bible, music and especially loved singing. She was a faithful contributor to the 700 Club.

Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Rob Houser officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
