Michael Irvin McIntyre

Michael Irvin McIntyre, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Friday at his residence in Freedom Township, East Freedom. He was born in Altoona, the son of James W. McIntyre and the late Carole F. (Richardson) Reed.

Surviving are his father; his stepmother, M. Kathleen McIntyre; nephews, Stephen and Dustin; niece, Ashly; great-nephew, Kaden; great-niece, Serenity; a stepsister; and a stepbrother.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen McIntyre; and grandparents: Irvin and Margaret (Flegal) McIntyre and John and Virginia Richardson.

Michael was a graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and served four years in the PA Army National Guard.

He was formerly employed at Wendt’s Auto Repair, McLanahan Corp. and Curry Supply.

Mike was a faithful member of the Duncansville VFW.

Visitation with family and friends will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Duncansville. Military honors are provided by Blair County Veterans Honor Guard.
